As part of a Development Ventures course at the MIT Sloan School of Management, I worked with Stephanie Nguyen on a new venture focused on affordable custom prosthetic solutions for developing communities in Vietnam, using transportation infrastructure to deliver care to rural, low-income patients. The project focused on 30 million amputees in developing countries where only 5-15% have access to affordable prosthetic options. Our team was awarded a seed grant from Legatum Center at MIT to explore innovation-driven entrepreneurship opportunities in the developing world.
